The field of physical and electro therapy for animals is huge and constantly growing, it can be difficult to decide which is the best treatment for the individual patient and which device you chose for your practice. We will give you a thorough overview of available options as well as compare and contrast their pros and cons. 
 We will look at the theory basics of their working mechanism and give you treatment protocols at hand for the practical application in your every day practice. Additionally we will cover regenerative therapies which are important in rehabilitation settings too. As always theoretical lectures in the mornings will prepare us for the practical hands on sessions in the afternoon. The topics we will cover in this module are: - Basics and indications of regenerative therapies (stem cells, IRAP,..) - Laser therapy: Theory and practical applications - Shockwave therapy: Theory basics and treatment protocols - Neurological background to efficacy of electrotherapies - Percussion Therapy / Local Vibration Therapy in horses - NMES / PEMF / TENS theory basics and different practical applications - Therapeutic Ultrasound: Theory and treatment protocols - EMTT
