The event fee includes airport and hotel transfers, accommodation, all meals (incl. tea/coffee and one soft drink per meal), Stargazing and Bedouin-style dinner, all lectures as well as extensive event notes and a certificate of attendance.

Attendees can choose to stay in a single room or can share a room with another attendee at a reduced price. 

Attendees are also welcome to attend the event with a partner/guest (special guest price available). 

The event fee does not include flights or alcoholic drinks. Rooms are allocated at the discretion of VetPD. Early event registration is recommended as there are only a limited number of places available.

Escape the ordinary and join us for an unforgettable Continuing Education (CE) Event set against the breathtaking backdrop of Oman’s deserts and coastline. This all-inclusive boutique event is designed for those seeking both clinical inspiration and an extraordinary travel experience – all in the company of like-minded professionals. Blending 20 – 40 hours of RACE-Approval pending equine CE with the magic of Arabian culture this is a truly unique opportunity to learn, connect, explore and unwind.

Our 6-day-long adventure begins with a transfer by 4WD into the sweeping dunes of Wahiba Sands, where we will stay at the beautifully authentic and eco-friendly Sama Al Wasil Desert Camp. Enjoy a warm welcome reception, a stargazing and Bedouin-style dinner, and two mornings of expert-led lectures and interactive case discussions in a unique desert 'boutique conference' setup. Optional desert activities such as 4WD dune adventures, sandboarding, and camel rides complete your experience.

On Day Three, we head back to the coast to the 5-star Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa in Muscat. Nestled between rugged and dramatic mountains and the turquoise sea, this luxurious beachfront resort will be our base for the final four nights. You will enjoy further carefully curated lectures and discussions, and free time for relaxation at the beach or spa, or optional excursions including visits to the Grand Mosque, Mutrah Souq, the Royal Opera House, or serene beach strolls along Qurum Beach.

The final evening will feature a traditional music and cultural experience before a day of free exploration and relaxation, giving you time to unwind or enjoy the resort at your own pace.
